FAQ

What do I need to get started?

Just what you run: a newsletter URL, a podcast name, a channel, an event. SponsorHawk works out your topic, audience and category, monitors which companies have budget to spend, and finds the people to pitch. Building the sponsor list is free, and adding a card grants you $10 in credits without charging anything.

How much does it cost?

About $0.10 per email actually sent, and that is the entire model: no subscription, no per-seat fee, no charge for finding sponsors. You start with $10 in free credits, which covers your first 100 emails. After that we bill the card on file for what you actually sent, in small increments.

What is a credit?

A credit is a dollar of sending balance. One sent email is metered at about $0.10, so the $10 granted when you add a card covers 100 emails. Research, sponsor lists and drafts that never send spend nothing.

What kinds of properties are supported?

A newsletter, a podcast, a channel, an event: anything with an audience to sell. A newsletter URL is resolved against a newsletter directory and a podcast name against a podcast index. A property that resolves in neither is still worked, from what you type, and its audience figure is labelled as an estimate.

Which signals decide who gets pitched?

Four, read per company on every campaign: sponsorship history, fresh funding inside the last 180 days, Google Ads spend above $1,000 a month, and a hire into a marketing or partnerships role inside the last 12 months. A company we cannot measure gets no signal line rather than an estimate.

Are the emails sent from my address?

No. Pitches go out from our pool of pre-warmed inboxes, never from your own mailbox or domain. Each sponsor is paired with one inbox that carries the whole conversation, and replies land back inside SponsorHawk.

Do I have to connect my domain or my inbox?

No. There is no domain to connect, no Google or Outlook account to authorize and no SMTP settings to fill in. Sending runs on SponsorHawk's own accounts, which we warm and manage for deliverability.

What happens when a sponsor replies?

SponsorHawk replies inside your review window, answers from the facts in your media kit, and can send your sponsor deck and rate card automatically. Once a sponsor asks for pricing or a call, it hands the thread to you to close.

How do I stop sending?

One click pauses everything, and spending stops the moment you pause. You also set a daily budget that caps spend before that.

Can I bring my own sponsor list?

Yes. Upload a CSV and the same verification engine runs on it, the one SponsorHawk uses for the sponsors it finds itself, then writes and sends to them on the normal schedule.

Do you give refunds?

Amounts already spent on emails that were sent are final and not refundable. Unused credit from a one-time top-up can be refunded on request. Free credits have no cash value and are not refundable.

Is cold outreach to sponsors allowed?

SponsorHawk sends B2B outreach to business addresses with an honest sender identity, and opt-outs are honored immediately. You control the geography of every campaign, so markets with stricter rules can be excluded entirely.
